We've tried to make the settings as simple as possible for everyone to use and for most the default settings will work quite well. But to adjust them, you simply open the Settings menu which looks like below and adjust each setting as required.
🔈 Announcements
Tap to toggle either of the announcements on or off. Raydium: If enabled you'll receive a DM from the bot when a token you purchased & currently hold with PlonkBot is in the process of moving to Raydium. You'll get notified usually around 30 seconds ahead of the migration (can be longer, depends on the migration process). General: General product announcements, maintenance schedules and major product news will be sent direct to you when enabled.
📊 Slippage
The price impact or slippage you are allowing on your transactions, helps with rapid price movements between when your transaction is submitted and received by the blockchain. If you are trading in illiquid pools you may need to increase your slippage for better results. You can adjust your Buy and Sell Slippage Independently.
⏩ Quick Buy
When 'Enabled' will instanly submit any buy requests for the amount specified beside it. You can initiate a Quick Buy via pasting a token or url into the chat, or using the button from one of the notifications.
Adjust the value for you Quick Buys buy pressing the value and responding to the bot to set your desired value, it can be changed again at any time.
💲 Predefined Buy Buttons
When executing manual Buy transactions (Quick Buy disabled), you are prompted with 2 preset values. You can adjust these values by clicking on them and responding to the bot with your desired value. They can be changed again at any time.
🏃 Transaction Fees
To increase the chance of successful and faster transactions, you may need to increase your priority fees, click to toggle between Low, Medium (Default), High, Very High & Custom. In most cases Medium will be sufficient but if you find your having trouble getting transactions to land, try increasing to the next level. Custom will allow you to define the specific SOL amount to use as your transaction fee, Tap the value itself to edit.
💰 Priority Fees
To further increase your chance of successful and faster transactions, increasing the bribe fee is your best bet. You can set the fee to any value of your choosing buy pressing on the value and then responding to the bot to update. You can change this at any time. There is no perfect value to use as this varies based on the state of transactions at the time of submission, adjust this value to be higher in busy periods and then reduce at quieter times.
🖥️ Validator
You have 4 Validator choices - MEV Protect, Turbo, Public & Custom. You can select individual validators to use for Buy & Sell Transactions (Dev Sell will use your Sell Validator choice). Custom will only be available if you have set a valid Custom RPC URL. For more information on these choices see our explanation article:
🐝 Custom RPC
Advanced users have the option of setting a custom RPC to use for transaction submission. Note: It must be a valid http/s URL. Please Note PlonkBot is unable to provide support for custom RPC's.
